Welcome August. Summer is definitely on full swing. The Dogs Days of Summer meaning is spot on. We are so lucky to live in this mountain desert climate to be able to welcome the cool evenings.
There are unfavorable events happening in town concerning animal poisoning. Years ago the farmers used arsenic laced eggs to control skunks and raccoon. This practice is not acceptable. Please keep your animals in your yards and report any persons using poisoning methods to the authorities.
